On April 29, 2025, the Confucius Classroom at Kutaisi University in Georgia held the selection test for the 18th World Chinese Bridge Competition for Middle School Students. In 2024, the Confucius Classroom at Kutaisi University achieved excellent results in both the final of the Georgia region and the global finals of the 17th 'Chinese Bridge' World Chinese Competition for Middle School Students, with student Achi Kandelaki winning first place in the Georgia region and third place in the global finals. To strive for further success in the 2025 18th 'Chinese Bridge' competition, the classroom specially organized this selection test. The test focused on basic Chinese knowledge, language application abilities, and content related to Chinese culture. Nine students participated in the test. After final scoring, four students stood out and qualified to compete in the Georgia region competition in Tbilisi. The classroom will organize personalized tutoring for these four students post-competition, aiming to achieve even better results in this year's competition.
