On June 16, 2022, the 21st Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Final Competition for College Students in Philippines was successfully held. This year's "Chinese Bridge" competition in the Philippines was organized by the Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation. The competition was held online due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines, Huang Xilian, the President of the Angeles University Foundation, Dr. Joseph Angelis, and other guests were invited to attend the competition. 

Two students from the Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University, Agatha A. Buenaventura and Deinie Ramos, were selected to participate in the final round and achieved the Outstanding Award.
