The Confucius Classroom at Machabeng College International School of Lesotho is an independent Confucius Classroom jointly established by Changchun Experimental High School of Jilin Province and Machabeng College International School of Lesotho. From 2014 to 2015, according to the recommendation of the Education Department of Jilin Province, Changchun experimental high school applied to undertake the Lesotho Confucius Classroom. At the end of 2015,The Confucius Classroom at Machabeng College International School of Lesotho was approved. In 2016, Mr. Yu Ji, the first Chinese Director came to the post. In April 2017, The Confucius Classroom at Machabeng College International School of Lesotho was officially established. From September 2018 to August 2022, Nie Yali served as the second Chinese Director. Since its establishment, the Confucius Classroom has gradually developed and grown. From the initial "pioneering" stage to the present, it has begun to take shape and has developed steadily and well. Since its establishment, the Confucius Classroom has achieved remarkable achievements in Chinese teaching, with a total of nearly 8000 Chinese students. Among them, there are 13 registered students in Machabeng school, with about 400 graduates. Among them, 6 have won the Chinese government scholarship and 6 have won the excellent scholarship of the Chinese Bridge.
